The Benefits

Certification Process

1. Product Life-Cycle Assessment (LCA): We work with you and an LCA consultant to determine your product(s)’ carbon footprint in accordance with our CarbonFree Product Certif. Carbon Footprint Protocol. To obtain a copy, send an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
2. Certify the Product: Reduce, offset the carbon footprint (quarterly based on actual sales), and gain use of the CarbonFree Certified Product Label and Carbonfund.org’s marketing support.
3. Review LCA annually: We provide incentive for companies that lower a product’s carbon footprint by at least 10 percent.
