“I don’t own enough property to plant 1,000 trees each year, and I can’t figure out how to get my car to run on water,” says Christopher Spence, CEO of Lexan Systems. “Currently we only have one planet, and if we do not spend more time taking care of it, we may not have that. We try to be conservative, as much as our business allows, but Carbonfund.org allows us to do more when we cannot do it ourselves. Although we are not a conglomerate, we have the ability to help. I personally also wanted to put my foot down and take a stance that our environment is important and that we care.”
