Commitment
Our company sells properties that real estate investor rehabilitates, then rent, and hold for cash flow. While this provides an impact, we realize this is not enough. The goal was to take the next step. We wanted to offer a way for ourselves and real estate investors to not only impact the economy, but the environment too. We worked with CarbonFund.org to create a way to calculate the impact a tenant has on climate change, then we utilize that cost to purchase carbon credits, which in turn go towards reforestation. In particular we took notice of the project in Louisiana that provides reforestation for the Tensas River National Wildlife Refuge.
