Description
The Clean Water Network (CWN) is a coalition of more than 1,200 public interest organizations across the country, representing more than 5 million people, working together to strengthen and implement federal clean water and wetlands policy. It is the largest national coalition working to defend and strengthen the federal Clean Water Act. For more information, please visit our website.
Commitment
The Clean Water Network fights to protect America’s waters by providing legislative advocacy workshops, giving out small project grants to groups working on local water problems and providing e-newsletters and alerts to keep our membership aware of the latest happenings on the water front nationally. The Network also hosts meetings, caucuses and workshops to educate people working in the water community on pressing issues facing our waters and provides training for grass roots advocates that work to protect water quality on a local/regional scale.
