Commitment
EarthRoamer® Xpedition vehicles are designed for minimum impact on the environment to allow future enjoyment of the outdoors for generations to come. Here are a few of the design decisions we’ve made to support our commitment to the environment:
- Large, high output, roof mounted solar panels employ solar energy as a primary renewable energy source.
- High capacity batteries eliminate the need for a noisy generator.
- All light fixtures and appliances are highly efficient.
- Turbo-charged, inter-cooled ultra-low sulfur diesel engine is exceptionally fuel efficient.
- Stove, air heater and water heater can use regular diesel fuel or B20 bio-diesel interchangeably.
- Cassette toilet minimizes black water waste volume and uses formaldehyde-free tank treatments.
- Super insulated camper shell reduces energy requirements for heating and cooling.

“This partnership just completes the package,” said Matt Nakari, EarthRoamer’s VP of Sales and Business Development, “Our vehicles are built to maximize their efficiency and minimize their carbon footprint from the very beginning. Solar panels have never been an option on our vehicles, 510 watts come standard. Partnering with Carbonfund.org allows us, through reforestation, to offset the remaining carbon emissions that we couldn’t eliminate.”
