Join Camino Surf and learn or improve your surfing. For us, surfing is not only a watersport-activity but a profoundly meaningful practice that brings physical, psychological, and spiritual benefits.
Appreciating the curves of the wave face and the breeze rolling over miles of ocean and the post-ride smile stretched across one’s face. Happiness is that sense that one is truly alive and truly a surfer. Our mission is to share this happiness with others. In small groups and coached by experienced surf-instructors, advances are achieved naturally and playfully. The Camino Surf Camp is located in Valdoviño, Galicia, Spain and from Nov. 2010 on also in Morocco. In Spain, we operate from May till October and in Morocco from November till March.
Commitment
We see surfing as a magical way to grab the essence of natural creation itself. To also allow future generations to indulge in this beautiful sport, we feel the strong need to show decent respect to the environment. The Camino Surf camp is CarbonFree and we also affiliate with the Surfrider Foundation Europe in order to protect our beaches. Further, we have ecological-made Balsa wood surfboards, organic cotton T-Shirts and the water-heating in our camp is solar-panel-driven.
