Namaste of Mind’s mission is to provide rural artisans with a market to sustain livelihoods, to improve communities, and to connect people with the source of a product. We are committed to achieving the highest levels of environmental stewardship, social consciousness, and customer service. We do this by providing customers with unique, handmade, natural fiber goods (including quilts, tablecloths, pashminas, tapestries, and various accessories) and fairly sharing profits with the artisans. Commitment

At Namaste of Mind, we feel strongly about recognizing the consequences of our actions and taking responsibility for them. By emitting carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, we are contributing to the global climate change crisis. Through our support of the Carbonfund reforestation program, we hope to counteract our impact, plant more trees, and encourage others to do the same.

While working in rural villages, we noticed a terrible paradox: the people are hardworking, talented, generous and motivated- but can not earn enough to meet their basic needs. In the case of farmers, this is due to reoccurring drought; in the case of artisans, this is due to the involvement of middle-men working in international export. Knowing that we could do nothing to change the weather, we began working on what we thought we could change.
