Shear Color Printing is a commercial printer that has been servicing clients throughout New England for 20 years. We specialize in high quality, fast turnaround, and short to medium print runs. Our pressroom contains 2color, 4color and 5color plus tower coating presses. We also offer a full range of prepress and bindery services. Commitment
Partnering with Carbonfund.org is just one part of Shear’s commitment to reducing our environmental impact. Other Shear Color “green” initiatives include:
• Converting to 100% wind power to operate our facility
• Joining the EPA’s Green Power Partnership
• Platemaking with no chemicals
• Becoming FSC certified
• Adopting a comprehensive recycling program including waste ink, used plates, waste paper, packaging materials, and shop rags
• Printing with vegetable-based printing ink on a variety of recycled paper stocks
