Area 16 is a progressive real estate development and construction company located in Houston, TX. We build small residential homes with a focus on design, quality materials and energy efficiency. We believe in preserving historic homes, building new homes with a small carbon footprint, and developing housing within the existing scale of older neighborhoods.
Commitment
Area 16 is committed to building affordable, green single-family homes in the Houston region. We want more than just our product to be green, we want our process to be green. LEED Certification, locally-sourced and recycled building materials, even our little biodiesel work-truck; it all comes together to reduce our carbon footprint as we work to build responsibly. Last, but not least, we appreciate the efforts of Carbonfund.org to help us cover our bases by offsetting what we can’t reduce.
