As a dental office, we are very conscious of the fact that we generate a large volume of medical waste every single day. Many of the instruments and materials we use just cannot be recycled due to infection control standards. However, from day one, we invested in digital x-rays, and over the last year, we switched to full computerization and have gotten rid of all paper patient records. Reducing the amount of paper we use, and recycling whatever we can, is just one little way we try to help the environment.
