The Population Resource Center
Description
The Population Resource Center promotes the use of accurate population data and sound, objective analysis of this data in the making of public policy. Through briefings on Capitol Hill, downtown DC, and with US city and local officials, PRC connects demographic trends to larger social and environmental issues, such as food security, climate change, urban planning, and Census 2010. We also educate the public through our blog, Population Counts.
Commitment
PRC’s commitment to the environment is maintained through its regular briefings on environmental trends; internal initiatives to green office procedures; and outreach to other organizations promoting environmental stewardship.
