Barrie Ontario, October 29, 2010 – LEI Electronics Inc. today announced that it has purchased all rights to the Eco Alkalines brand of batteries from Venom Group International.

Eco Alkalines are the world’s first batteries to be certified carbon neutral by Carbonfund.org, the leading nonprofit carbon reduction and climate solutions organization. Eco Alkalines are considered earth-friendly and landfill-safe by Canadian and US environmental protection agencies.
