Environmental Commitment

All Loll outdoor furniture is made from 100% recycled HDPE, 90% of the waste from Loll’s manufacturing process is sent to a recycling plant (where it is recycled into post-industrial HDPE), and all Loll furniture is also 100% recyclable. For every pound of weight in a Loll chair there are an estimated 8 recycled milk jugs being used, saving natural resources and reducing land-fill waste.  Loll pays a fee to Carbonfund for every package shipped to offset the carbon generated during shipping. Carbonfund uses that money to fund their carbon offset projects. Products are packaged with as little packaging as required to safely get the product to your door. We use recycled cardboard boxes and recycled cardboard padding inside the box. All packaging can again be recycled by you.  Loll Designs benefits clients, commercial and residential, applying for LEED certification by adding credits to their Materials & Resources portion of their credit checklist.  Loll Designs participates in 1% for the Planet, donating 1% of total sales to local organizations.  Loll Designs is proud to be among the environmentally sustainable businesses that carry the Co-op America Seal and are listed in The National Green Pages™.  We run our production schedule with a one week delay to better utilize raw material yield and create better efficiencies in our plant. By delaying one week we can allow orders of similar colors to build-up and thus cut more parts at one time to utilize more of the raw material.  Loll Designs purchases wind energy from the local company Minnesota Power to off-set usage.  Starting in 2008, Loll staff has taken a field day each year around Earth Day (frost permitting in MN), and gone out to plant a tree for each order we received in the preceding year. Loll Designs are Made in the U.S.A.
