Plant-A-Tree

Dell's Plant-A-Tree program makes it easier to protect our Earth's climate by offering businesses and consumers the opportunity to offset the CO₂ emissions related to their use of many Dell products.

One hundred percent of all customer donations support Dell's nonprofit partners, The Conservation Fund and Carbonfund.org, to plant millions of trees that will help trap carbon dioxide as they grow.

How it Works

This web page is designed for businesses and individuals outside the US, providing them and their Dell account representatives a way to participate by making a donation online. US businesses can include support for the Dell Plant-A-Tree program in their order through their Dell account representative. No product purchase necessary.

Businesses & Individuals Outside the US

Donations are processed using the calculator below and a credit or debit card. Carbon footprint calculations are based on the emissions associated with product electricity use for their average three-year lifetime. Dell products currently available under this program are noted below.

Trees

Donation amounts are based on expected average carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions from the production of electricity needed to power the systems over three years, and the average number of trees that need to be planted in order to trap those emissions as they grow*.
