Free Smile Evaluations by Carbonfund.org Partner Advanced Dental Arts
Advanced Dental Arts is a full service dental office operating in Scituate,
Massachusetts. Whether you need a cleaning, basic general dentistry, or advanced cosmetic work, they look beyond your individual teeth so that they can treat not just your mouth, but you the individual. Healthy teeth and gums are just the start. Advanced Dental Arts wants you to smile with confidence at work, at weddings, at reunions, at church, and everywhere.
Like many dental offices, Advanced Dental Arts is conscious of the fact that they generate a large volume of medical waste every single day. Many of common dental instruments and materials can't be recycled for sanitary health reasons.
However, Advanced Dental Arts invested in digital x-rays and over the last year, switched to full computerization and eliminated all paper patient records. Eliminating such paper use and recycling are a big step to reducing what they can. Advanced Dental Arts also offsets their remaining carbon footprint with Carbonfund.org.
To learn more, please visit Advanced Dental Arts.

Save Money & Trees by Renting Textbooks with BookRenter.com
During my undergrad days, I would often spend nearly $500 per semester on
textbooks and other required reading for my classes. With four classes every semester, that is over $100 per class! I wasn’t even a science major – some of my friends spent even more. Enter BookRenter.com, a CarbonFree® Partner who can save you hundreds of dollars per year on your textbooks and required reading. What’s more, they are offsetting the round-trip carbon emissions from their textbook rentals!
BookRenter allows you to rent hassle-free and simply ship your books back when you’re done. If you want to keep a few, no worries. You can turn the rental into a purchase. Not only is renting textbooks cheaper, but can be a more sustainable choice. There is no need for piles of unwanted books outside your campus bookstore.
This semester (and next!), rent textbooks with BookRenter.com to save money and prevent unwanted books at the end of your semester. You can also enter their St. Patrick’s Day sweepstakes on Facebook!

Craftsman Bed & Breakfast - a Greener Place to Stay on the Oregon Coast
The Craftsman Bed and Breakfast is a great model of our "Reduce What You Can, Offset What You Can" motto here at Carbonfund.org. This bed and breakfast located in Pacific City, Oregon is housed in one of the area's oldest buildings which was restored into the beautiful home you see today. They are located about an hour and a half southwest of Portland on the beautiful Oregon coast.
Before offsetting their carbon footprint with Carbonfund.org, The Craftsman Bed & Breakfast reduced their climate impact as much as possible. From using reusable canvas bags for shopping, composting organic food waste, using rain barrels for landscape watering needs, to double-paned energy efficient windows installed in the B&B. To learn more about their environmental initiatives or to book a visit, please visit The Craftsman.
