Clean (and quiet) Lawn Care
I grew up on a tree farm in the middle of Kentucky. I’ll admit that the daily chores my brothers and I did never were as hard as our small farm neighbors. But we did a lot (I mean a lot) of tree trimming, grass cutting, and all around lawn care type of work. Our carbon footprint for years worth of running mowers, weed eaters, and tractors has to be significant. Even worse, hundreds of thousands of people burn gas and oil every weekend for at least half the year across the country. Think what type of carbon footprint the lawn care industry alone has in our country. What to do?!
Clean Air Lawn Care is a full-service sustainable lawn care service, providing landscape maintenance using clean and quiet electric equipment. Everything is powered by wind energy, they use biodiesel equipment and organic fertilizers, and their trucks even have mounted solar panels to recharge equipment. They have found incredible ways to reduce what they can, and as a CarbonFree® Partner since a 2008 they are offsetting the operations of their franchises across the country and running a carbon neutral business.
This is a sustainable alternative to conventional lawn care and one that I hope more people use to help fight climate change!
