What I find amazing is that it seems every time we turn around my nephew is already too big for the clothes he got a month ago. Sure his parents plan to reuse the clothes for other children, but there’s a lot that a baby needs. All these things require factories, shipping, etc. and it adds up.
In light of my desire to create a better world for Samuel Lawrence to live in, there are choices in baby clothes that are better for the environment. Nat & Helens makes it easy to find high quality, high style organic and sustainable baby clothes and eco-friendly baby products.
On their site you can see that they “believe that, as consumers, we have the power to vote with our dollars; to spend our money supporting companies we believe in; companies that we feel do everything they can to earn a living while remaining mindful of the effects their industry has on the environment and our social well being.”
On top of offering environmentally responsible products, they offset their footprint through Carbonfund.org and make donations to Trees for the Future to plant trees using a portion of their yearly profits.
