Simple Environmental Consciousness
Chris Sewell on August 7th, 2009Addressing climate change can get pretty complicated when an entire economy is involved. There seems to be so much to do and so little time to do it. It’s great to see the US government finally taking action, but we have a long way to go. It’s times like now that I like to remember the simple but important solutions we should each do to help take responsibility for our environmental footprint. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, or 3R for short.
Our partner 3R Living, based out of New York City, has made this the core of their business. 3R provides an array of household (and other) products that are carefully selected with the principles of reducing waste, reusing unwanted or discarded materials, and recycling in mind. They have a couple stores in the area, they’re available online, and you can even make shipping CarbonFree®. For all of us that aren’t car manufacturers, energy producers, heads of state, etc. it’s great to be reminded how simple protecting the environment can be. Living the principles of 3R – reduce, reuse and recycle.
