CarbonFree® Certified Products Listed in World’s First Eco-Article about “World’s First” Eco-Items
The world’s first eco-article about “world’s first” eco-items by Katharine Wroth, a contributor to the New York Times and Washington Post, mentioned a few of our CarbonFree® Certified Products.
The First Carbon-Neutral Recycled-Cotton T-Shirt and World’s First Carbon-Neutral Phone are listed as Katharine narrates the number of eco-items she encounters in her daily routine from the time she wakes up.
The certification of these eco-items by Anvil and Motorola is based on Carbonfund.org’s work to develop and implement a rigorous protocol for products to be certified carbon neutral or as we label it- CarbonFree® Certified. The CarbonFree® Certified Label is aimed at increasing awareness of greenhouse gas emissions associated with products. The label was created in response to the growing market for eco-friendly products, and consumer demand for transparent, credible and readily accessible information at the point of purchase.
