Networking for Cleaner Water
As the face of a coalition of more than 1,200 public interest organizations the Clean Water Network sets an example for millions of people across the states. They fight to protect America’s waters by providing legislative advocacy workshops, administering small project grants to groups working on local water problems, and providing e-newsletters and alerts to keep their membership aware of the latest happenings on the water front nationally. The Network also hosts meetings, caucuses, and workshops to train and educate water protection advocates on pressing issues facing our waters at a local and regional scale.
What better way to add to their incredible environmental credentials than finding ways to reduce their carbon footprint. They want to leave the earth a better place than they found it, and Clean Water Network joined Carbonfund.org to support our offset projects. Reducing their carbon footprint makes their time and energy dedicated to saving America’s waters more effective and allows Clean Water Network to be a greener group overall.
