It’s sweet to work with our partners because it’s a reminder each day of all the people out there taking action to fight climate change. So when one of them gets recognized for their work it makes it that much sweeter.
Congratulations to our partners at Discovery Asia for recently earning the highest award of “Outstanding” in three categories of the AdAsia Green Awards. For their work in 2008 they received:
- Outstanding Creative Execution of a Press or Film Advertisement Selling a ‘Green’ Product, Service or Organization
- Outstanding Direct Mail Piece Promoting a ‘Green’ Product, Service or Organization
- Outstanding Multinational Corporation with an Office in Singapore in Reducing its Carbon Footprint

Discovery Asia is an environmental leader in their industry and they’ve taken Discovery Communications’ commitment to reducing its footprint head on by reducing their carbon footprint and offsetting what they can’t. They are a CarbonFree® Partner with Carbonfund.org since 2007.
