I think a far more accurate and true description would be ' we have estimated the carbon footprint of this garment and offset it ' The garment is not carbon neutral, this is just another cheap method of selling something... Green Washing.... It is claimed that you have calculated the carbon footprint for consumer use How can this be.... do you know how long the shirt will be worn, how many washes, at what temperature etc. As most of the carbon footprint comes from the consumer, I think this is a very seriuos claim. What is more important here is that waste material has been recycled and a company has offset some carbon.
