Amtrak has made its green commitment more visible to its many riders and asking them, “How do you travel green?” Riders can submit their stories and tips, as well as learn what they can do now to green their travel. Rail travel is among the most fuel efficient means of travel, and riders can offset the carbon footprint of their travel in support of Carbonfund.org’s innovative, verified carbon reduction projects from either the ticket purchase confirmation page of Amtrak, our train calculator, or this Amtrak-Carbonfund.org landing page.
