Fluid Earth® functions on an eco-friendly manufacturing and business philosophy, which includes their unique Fin Recycling Program. According to their website, the resin used in their bio-composite is comprised of a minimum of 50% plant derived material, creates 34% less greenhouse gas emissions compared to similar petroleum based resins, and uses 32% less fossil fuels to produce. When Fluid Earth decided to offset their business, Carbonfund.org was one of the first names that they heard. Fluid Earth® manufactures surfboard fins that are specifically engineered to provide the perfect “balance of strength, flexibility, and durability.”
